This is the wrap up of the Skirt Challenge. It was a really fun experience, there were a few days it was cold and I didn't want to wear a skirt or dress, but add some leggings or knee high socks and I was fine.

Skirt Challenge update
Here is the summary from the last week of days 16 to day 22!
Miss E is wearing a linen skirt I made her in February for this summer, My skirt is from J. Crew.
Warm summer like day, I made all three of our skirts here.
Off to a meeting,
Warm day of shopping, I made all of our skirts. My skirt is a wrap from a silky graphic print. I love this skirt!
Also taken that day, I was picking things from our garden for dinner and planting more potatoes.
I'm wearing a dress I originally made for a wedding that fell through, (I didn't ask for all the details) but I got to keep the dress! I will post about that soon, since it's wedding season. Miss J is wearing a jumper I made for Miss E two years ago. Miss E wearing a tee-shirt dress with a warm, and soft, stripe sweater from Forever 21.
This was taken today, Miss E and I after yoga and before running errands.

Phew, we had a busy weekend! I hope you all did too! Saturday went shopping and went to a BBQ, the weather has still been on the cool side and layers were a must!
Sunday morning we dressed up
Day 10 Skirt Challenge
A fun filled day of errands! We are all wearing skirts I have made.
My skirt is a lightweight knit, high- low hem. I really like this shade of grey, it's a good neutral with bright turquoise!
Day 1, Skirt Challenge
Day one of the skirt challenge. Both my daughters wanted to participate, so for our first day we each put together our outfits!
I'm wearing a white, silk blouse and raspberry skirt, both I made.
Miss E, my oldest is wearing a line green skirt that I made last Easter, and Miss J, is wearing a dress that I also made.
Tee-Pee Tea Party themed magazine shoot
This was such a fun shoot to work on. I Had a lot of fun designing and making some girls skirts that were worn in a magazine shoot for Party Style Magazine. I worked again with Christina Goff from 4KidsCakes, she told me the theme and feel she wanted and Nicole Frost, from Stitch This and I worked together to coordinate the tee shirts and skirts. These are the skirts I designed and made, each is different and yet they all coordinate with the theme, young, fresh, soft. I tea dyed the laces for each skirt to give it a vintage look.

With this skirt I tea-dyed the main pink print, I wanted it to really have a worn, vintage feel.
